Join Orla on Sat 19th October at 2pm for a Spring Bulb Container Workshop, wonderful hands-on, practical workshop on the art of the "Bulb Lasagne", where I will show you how to fill a large decorative pot with several layers of different types of bulbs that will flower continuously from early Spring until Summer.
- Pick a large container from our range of shapes and colours in stock
- Choose from a variety of different bulbs such as Tulip, Daffodil, Anemone, Hyacinths, Allium
- Learn how to layer the bulbs for maximum flower power
- Choose a striking combination of tones for an exciting pop of colour or keep it simple with complimentary tones...the choice is all yours
- Advice on feeding, watering and year round care in pots
- All materials will be provided including Bulbs, Compost & Large Container
We will go through each selection of bulb varieties and the optimal planting positions from woodland areas to lawns and of course we will each get to fill a large pot full on the day to take home and wait patiently until Spring to show off your all your hard work!
No Workshop would be complete without the cup of Tea or Coffee so we can relax and chat over our gardening accomplishments, there might even be a few freshly baked cookies
